Brown Butter Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

This is our favorite banana bread when an extra indulgent treat is in order! Moist and flavorful brown butter banana bread is elevated to a whole new level of awesome thanks to a thick ribbon of cinnamon sugar that is swirled in the center.

What you need

cup cane sugar
cup light-brown sugar
brown egg

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

tsp baking soda

tsp kosher salt
cup sour cream

banana

tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F) (175 degrees C). Generously grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray; set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars, beat until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Fold in the sour cream and mashed bananas; don;t over mix. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the cinnamon swirl, then sprinkle half of it over the batter. Add the remaining batter to the pan, and top with remaining cinnamon sugar. Bake for about 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into slices and serve.View original recipe
